Some drivers report that Stage 2 is a successful compromise between everyday comfort and performance, while Stage 4 on the road is already very direct and noticeably uncompromising. For daily drivers and spirited road use with naturally aspirated engines, we therefore always recommend Stage 2. For racing and forced induction, one should lean towards Stage 3 or 4, depending on setup and application.
